Here's the trailer for the film that was shot in our house back in June. The shoot was a great motivator to finally get the remodeling of our living room done. And a good excuse to spend even more hours improving the garden.
In a scene of the film, the lead actor is standing where a rotting shower once stood. It was held together by duct tape. Yards and yards of duct tape. Now, instead of a moldy shower, there's a set of glass doors that lead out into the garden. It was a good reminder that even though there's still A LOT of work to be done on this old house, we've already come a long way.
The film was written and directed by my husband Jason Headley and created with the help of an amazing group of people.
Amy John Headley is a landscape designer based in San Francisco.
