Our upstairs bathroom is a split bath. (Shower and sink in one room, toilet in another.) And while I'm convinced a split bath is an important ingredient for a happy marriage, our toilet room is very tiny.
So I needed to find a trash bin that wouldn't take up much floor space.
I opted to use this mailbox. It doesn't take up any floor space and lunch-sized paper bags work perfectly as liners.
So guests wouldn't be confused as to why there's a mailbox in the bathroom, I added a label where the home address would typically be displayed.
I also removed the knob from the lid of the mailbox, to simplify the design a little.
