We recently had the trees in our garden pruned. It’s always a little heartbreaking to scale them back, but it did produce some good branches for bouquets.
Here they are paired with some Leucadendron I picked up at the grocery store. To me it looks like an intriguing, prehistoric version of the rose.
I like having big arrangements in the house during the winter. They help ease the fact that I don’t get to be in the garden nearly as much as I’d like.
