Some photos from a client's yard about one year after the installation. She already has some established plants, so in order to create a unifying thread throughout the space, I turned to grasses, or grass-like plants. Mainly Stipa arundinacea, Juncus patens 'Elk Blue,' Lomandra longifolia 'Breeze' and Scripus cernus for an area for an area with wet clay soil. They were just little tufts when we first installed them, but now they are providing a cohesive texture throughout the space.
