This is our version of the office water cooler. It's located in the center of our second floor, so we’ll have easy access to filtered water when we’re working in our offices. And can even swap a bit of gossip before heading back to work.
I chose the Kohler Glenbrook for it’s shallow dimensions—it doesn’t jut out into the nearby doorway—and because we like the way it looks. Simple lines, without being sleek. And we happened to find one on eBay that was salvaged from a hotel remodel.
We had the plumber add a filter to the water line, which we can replace by reaching into the closet behind the fountain.
I kept thinking someone was going to stop us and explain why you cannot install a drinking fountain in a home. But no one did. And now its installed and works great.
I couldn’t be happier about it.
